In celebration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Transjakarta is once again opening up the opportunity for artists/illustrators to express their creativity on a unique moving canvas, the Transjakarta double decker bus!

The theme "Charm and Creativity from the Archipelago" invites us to celebrate the rich culture, natural beauty and creativity of Indonesian children stretching from Sabang to Merauke. This theme reflects the spirit of highlighting and introducing various cultural heritages, arts, crafts and innovative works that are born from the roots of tradition and local wisdom of the archipelago. By carrying this theme, we celebrate Indonesia as a country rich in charm and potential, and foster a spirit of unity in diversity.

Transjakarta, as a showcase for expression space,  has the enthusiasm to make public transportation a medium for introducing the works of Indonesian artists and illustrators to a wide audience, both tourists and local people.
